The Walnut Creek Crawdads and the San Francisco Seagulls (0-5) exchanged the lead nine times on Thursday, but the Walnut Creek Crawdads ended up on top with a 7-6 win over the San Francisco Seagulls.

Micheal Mann did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Walnut Creek Crawdads, reaching base four times. He singled in the first and fourth innings.

The San Francisco Seagulls couldn't get anything going as long as Frank Waliczek was pitching. The San Francisco Seagulls managed just two hits off of Waliczek, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out six during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Roger Fonseca racked up two RBIs on three hits for the San Francisco Seagulls. He singled in the first and fifth innings and doubled in the sixth inning.
