The Atwater Aviators (7-9) and the Tri-Valley Bercovich (6-5) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Atwater Aviators that eventually took advantage of them in a 5-3 win at Fireman's Memorial Ballpark.

Matt Moceri racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Atwater Aviators. He homered in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Tyler Johnson had two extra-base hits for the Tri-Valley Bercovich. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the second and eighth innings.

Jeremy Mcdonald got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed three runs over five innings. Mcdonald struck out one, walked three and gave up five hits.

John Tierney was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out nine, and allowed four runs.
