Ryan Anderson kept the Atwater Aviators (4-6) off the board during his six innings of work and the Marysville Goldsox beat the Atwater Aviators, 9-1.

Anderson struck out four and allowed no walks and three hits.

The offense exploded for the the Marysville Goldsox in the second. The Atwater Aviators had no answer as the Marysville Goldsox scored five runs.

Brad Gerig got a hit in each of his three at bats. He doubled in the second innings and singled in the third and seventh innings.

Andrew Jarique ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out two.
