The SLO Blues continued to pile up the runs on Thursday, scoring three runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 13-0 win over the Atwater Aviators (1-3) at Sinshiemer Stadium.
A three-run double by Nick Flair and an RBI single by Alex Tucker helped the SLO Blues score four runs in the fourth. The SLO Blues had two hits in the inning.
Zach Dominguez had a hot bat for the SLO Blues. Dominguez went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He tripled in the first innings and singled in the third inning.
John Marc Shelly's six strikeouts were enough to push the SLO Blues past the Atwater Aviators. The SLO Blues' pitcher tossed five innings of shutout ball and allowed only three hits.
Andrew Jarique ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked three and struck out four.
