An outstanding effort by James Heller lifted the Atwater Aviators (23-17) to an 8-5 win over the South Bay Storm (18-28) on Saturday at Fireman_apos;s Memorial Ballpar.

Heller hit two home runs for the Atwater Aviators. Heller went 2-5 in the game with four RBIs and two runs scored. Heller homered in the fifth and seventh innings.

Even though Paul Cotler allowed five runs over six innings he still recorded the victory, his third of the season. Cotler struck out four, walked seven and gave up five hits.

Sam Maliska ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out three.
