Both the South Bay Storm (12-19) and the Alameda Blacksox put runners aboard on Wednesday, but it was the South Bay Storm that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 9-6 win at College of Alameda.

Gordon Madej got on base five times in the game for the South Bay Storm. He singled in the eighth inning.

Travis Bonner looked sharp on the mound. Bonner held the Alameda Blacksox hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Keenan Britton had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He tripled in the first inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Izzy Behrman recorded his first win for the South Bay Storm even though he allowed five runs over five innings. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Christian couldn't get it done on the hill for the Alameda Blacksox, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked nine, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
