The South Bay Storm (8-10) jumped out to an early lead on the Bercovich Collegiate and captured a 14-2 victory on Saturday at Granada High School.

Twelve runs in the first three innings allowed the South Bay Storm to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Sean Goodall, an RBI single by Gordon Madej, , a two-run single by Gordon Deacon, a two-run single by Travis Bonner, , a two-run single by Goodall, and a two-run single by Madej during the second inning helped the South Bay Storm put some runs on the board early.

Goodall racked up three RBIs on two hits for the South Bay Storm.

Nolan Atkins had an impressive outing against the Bercovich Collegiate's lineup. The Bercovich Collegiate managed just one hit off of Atkins, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his four innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Bercovich Collegiate's Kinney dominated the South Bay Storm's batters, giving up two runs and striking out six.

Sebek ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed eight runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out none.
