Sam Maliska held the Alameda Blacksox scoreless for six innings to boost the South Bay Storm (6-10) to a 10-4 victory.

Maliska allowed six hits, no walks and struck out four.

Five runs in the opening three innings allowed the South Bay Storm to easily put away the Alameda Blacksox. An RBI single by Jonathan James, an RBI single by Jared English, and an RBI single by English during the first inning fueled the South Bay Storm's offense early.

James was solid at the plate for the South Bay Storm. James went 2-2, drove in one and scored two runs.

T. Gamboa was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
