The San Leandro Ports didn't stand a chance on Wednesday, as the South Bay Storm (5-10) captured a blowout 12-4 win at San Leandro Ballpark.

The South Bay Storm scored six runs in the sixth on , , a two-run single by Matt Urakami, a double by Chris Blanton, a groundout by Erik Colombini, and a sacrifice fly by Travis Bonner.

Kavin Patel led the South Bay Storm's offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored one run and had two RBIs. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

The San Leandro Ports couldn't get anything going as long as Nolan Atkins was pitching. The San Leandro Ports managed just one hit off of Atkins, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his five innings of work.

A bright spot for the San Leandro Ports in the defeat was Welch, who allowed only two runs while striking out seven.
