The Walnut Creek Crawdads pounded the South Bay Storm (2-5) on Wednesday 10-4 at St. Marys College.

The Walnut Creek Crawdads scored three runs in the sixth on an RBI double by Mitch McGeein, an RBI triple by Steven Hazel, and a sacrifice fly by Tony DiLeo.

Michael Mann put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Walnut Creek Crawdads. He doubled in the first and second innings.

Ronnie LaCour pitched lights out for the Walnut Creek Crawdads. The South Bay Storm managed just two hits off of the the Walnut Creek Crawdads' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out five during his four innings of work.

Spencer Lamb ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed five runs.

The Walnut Creek Crawdads' Mann, Sean Peters, Nikko Saenz and Hazel combined for eight hits and six RBIs.
