The Walnut Creek Crawdads took the last of five lead changes in a back-and-forth affair against the South Bay Storm (1-2), securing a 7-5 victory on Sunday at St. Marys College.

The South Bay Storm scored on an RBI single by Matt Urakami in the third inning, an RBI double by Erik Colombini and an RBI triple by Urakami in the fifth inning, and in the seventh inning. Despite their efforts, the South Bay Storm couldn't finish the comeback.
Sean Peters got on base four times in the game for the Walnut Creek Crawdads. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.
The South Bay Storm had no answer for Hayden Walch, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The South Bay Storm managed just one hit off of the the Walnut Creek Crawdads' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three during his four innings of work.
Jeff Robertshaw got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. He allowed four runs over five innings. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered seven hits.
Ben Sneider (1-1) took the loss for the South Bay Storm. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
