An awesome effort by Casey Barnes carried the Washington Wild Things (43-51) to an 11-0 win over the Schaumburg Boomers (53-41) on Friday.

The Washington Wild Things didn't let up, as they kept racking up runs until the end. The Washington Wild Things scored four runs in the final three innings to cap the blowout win. The Washington Wild Things scored five runs in the fifth on , a triple by AJ Nunziato, a single by Gus Benusa, , and a double by Rick Devereaux.
Shain Stoner racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Washington Wild Things. He homered in the seventh inning.
Matt Kuna was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked three and struck out four.
