The JRs Steak House joe (17-10) didn't stand a chance on Tuesday, as the core chiropractic (22-4) captured a blowout 16-7 win in seven innings at Baseball Heaven field four.

The core chiropractic scored seven runs in the sixth on a solo home run by Kevin Spence, a two-run home run by Dennis Antica, a single by Chris F., a fielder's choice, a single by Nick Moscardino, and an RBI single by Mike Dacken.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the fifth, with five lead changes.

The core chiropractic finally managed to grab the lead after a strong fifth inning. A sacrifice fly by Dacken scored F. and Kevin Mcdowell and gave the core chiropractic the lead for good.

Chris Morton racked up four RBIs on two hits for the core chiropractic. He homered in the first inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Eric Manzi got a hit in each of his three at bats. He singled in the first, fifth, and sixth innings.

Spence recorded his sixth win for the core chiropractic even though he allowed seven runs over seven innings. He struck out one, walked six and surrendered 12 hits.

Gary Cessman was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed 16 runs in six innings, walked none and struck out none.

The core chiropractic easily handled the JRs Steak House joe pitching as seven hitters combined for 16 hits, 14 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
