The Ontario jump on the British Columbia early and coast to 11-3 win

Story by Narrative Science.

The Ontario (6-0) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the British Columbia (6-1), recording an 11-3 victory on Sunday at BBoys Vaughan Grove one.

Eleven runs in the first three innings allowed the Ontario to put the game away early.

An RBI triple by Austin Ferguson and an RBI double by Troy Daring during the first inning and a two-run double by Conner Morro, a two-run triple by Ferguson, and an error in the second inning helped the Ontario put some runs on the board early.

Ferguson put himself in scoring position with three extra-base hits for the Ontario.

Despite the loss, the British Columbia's Thomas Espig dominated the Ontario's batters, giving up zero runs and striking out five.

Nathan Arruda got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed two runs over 4 2/3 innings. Arruda struck out four, walked two and gave up four hits.

Kristjan Storrie was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out one.

The Ontario were sparked by Ferguson and Morro, who teamed up for four hits and six RBIs.
