The Quebec offense too much for the Manitoba in 14-2 rout

Story by Narrative Science.

The Quebec (4-3) jumped out to an early lead on the Manitoba (4-3) and captured a 14-2 victory on Sunday at BBoys Vaughan Grove one.

Seven runs in the first three innings allowed the Quebec to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Jeremy Caron, an RBI single by Jacob Dugal, an RBI triple by Derek Marchand, a wild pitch, and an RBI single by Joey Mainville in the second inning helped the Quebec put some runs on the board early.

Caron racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Quebec.

The Manitoba's Christian Peters was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.

Keven Fortin got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Luxon Glor ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed five runs.

The Quebec pounded the Manitoba pitching, as six hitters combined for 10 hits, eight RBIs and nine runs scored.
