Gary Patanjo clubbed two home runs to carry the Top Shelf (12-14) to a 14-12 win over the Ken Griffey Jrs Slugfest (13-13) at Bellport one in eight innings.
The Top Shelf found themselves down in the seventh inning but managed to fight back and claim the win.
Josh Bente rocked the Top Shelf with two home runs. Bente went 2-3 in the game with four RBIs and two runs scored. Bente homered in the fourth and fifth innings.
The two teams combined for 26 runs and 35 hits, including zero extra base hits.
Patanjo got his fifth win for the Top Shelf despite allowing 12 runs over eight innings. Patanjo struck out one, walked one and gave up 19 hits.
James Burns couldn't get it done on the bump for the Ken Griffey Jrs Slugfest, taking a loss. He allowed 14 runs in 7 2/3 innings, walked nine and struck out none.
