The San Angelo Colts (41-40) shut the door early on the Abilene Prairie Dogs (31-48), capturing a 10-2 victory on Saturday at Foster Field.

Seven runs in the first three innings allowed the San Angelo Colts to put the game away early.

A groundout by Cory Patton, a groundout by Patton, a groundout by Salvador Paniagua, and an RBI single by Mark Ramos in the first inning supplied the early offense for the San Angelo Colts.

Patton racked up three RBIs on two hits for the San Angelo Colts.

Demetrius Banks struck out eight hitters en route to the the San Angelo Colts win. Banks allowed two earned runs on six hits and three walks over 6 2/3 innings.
