The FPI (15-11) jumped on the Lezbros (17-9) early on their way to a 6-4 win on Tuesday at Hecksher in seven innings, scoring three runs in the first inning.
The FPI would not relinquish the lead as the Lezbros were unable to weather a three-run fifth inning deficit.
The Lezbros scored one run in the sixth on an RBI single by Roco Famiglietta. Despite their efforts, the Lezbros couldn't finish the comeback.
Kris Franzese racked up two RBIs on three hits for the FPI. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the second and fifth innings.
Chuck improved to 10-8 on the year by picking up the win for the FPI. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered 13 hits.
Rob Anderson (4-2) took the loss for the Lezbros. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked four and struck out none.
