Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Wednesday as the Wenatchee AppleSox (3-1) outscored the Corvallis Knights (2-1) 9-8.

The two teams combined for 21 hits in the game.

The Wenatchee AppleSox got their bats going early, scoring three runs in the first inning to pull ahead of the Corvallis Knights.

Ty Moore got on base three times in the game for the Wenatchee AppleSox. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Bryce Jackson got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed one run over three innings. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered four hits.

Dylan Stuart was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
