The Nashua Silver Knights drop the North Shore Navigators 6-2 behind Minucci's early single

Three first-inning runs helped the Nashua Silver Knights (4-0) to a 6-2 win over the North Shore Navigators (2-3) at Holman Stadium on Wednesday.

Rays Roman reached base three times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the first and sixth innings.

Matt Houston put together a nice outing. The North Shore Navigators managed just one hit off of Houston, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Lamarre Rey improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Nashua Silver Knights. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered six hits.

Josh Desai was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
