Four first-inning runs helped the Team Egg (11-9) to a 7-4 win over the East Coast Orthotic and Pro (5-15) on Sunday.
Chris Monahan put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Team Egg. He doubled in the first and third innings and singled in the fifth inning.
Cody had two extra-base hits for the East Coast Orthotic and Pro. He singled in the second inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and homered in the sixth inning.
Chris Andrews improved to 4-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Team Egg. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered seven hits.
Jack Benenari (0-2) took the loss for the East Coast Orthotic and Pro. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked three and struck out none.
The Team Egg's Andrews, Monahan and Anthony Matarese combined for eight hits and four RBIs.
