A loss looked likely for the core chiropractic (19-4) when they trailed by seven runs in the second inning, but the core chiropractic were able to capture the lead back with a an RBI single by Vincent Devito in the seventh inning, spurring the core chiropractic to a 10-9 win over the JRs Steak House joe (15-8) at Baseball Heaven two on Monday.

With the score tied at nine in the seventh inning, Devito came to the plate and singled, scoring James Brodersen.

Devito racked up two RBIs on one hit for the core chiropractic. He singled in the seventh inning.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 19 total runs and 25 hits during the game.

Dan Heskin racked up three RBIs on three hits for the core chiropractic. He homered in the second inning, singled in the fifth inning, and doubled in the sixth inning.

The JRs Steak House joe were led by a flawless day at the dish by Bill Caffrey, who went 2-2 against the core chiropractic's pitching. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Even though Devito allowed nine runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his seventh of the season. Devito struck out none, walked five and gave up 12 hits.

Rich R took the loss for the JRs Steak House joe. He allowed 10 runs in 6 2/3 innings, walked six and struck out none.
