James Seder drove in the go-ahead run to give the fighting irish (2-19) the lead in the seventh inning, as the fighting irish hung on to beat the RAIDERS (5-16) 7-5 on Sunday.
After Pat Raftice singled, Seder came to the plate with one out in the seventh and doubled, bringing home Raftice.Seder was hot from the plate for the fighting irish. Seder went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the third and fifth innings and doubled in the seventh inning.
The RAIDERS' Martin Sorace was perfect at the dish, going 2-2. He singled in the first and sixth innings.
Even though Brian Anderson allowed five runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his first of the season. He struck out one, walked five and surrendered 13 hits.
Eddie Olechnowski was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in seven innings, walked none and struck out two.
