The Regina Red Sox (6-0) jumped out to an early lead on the Moose Jaw Miller Express (3-5) and captured an 11-1 victory on Wednesday at Ross Wells Park.

With six runs in the first three innings, the Regina Red Sox left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI double by Mitch MacDonald, an RBI single by Daniel Bick, an RBI single by Bick, an RBI single by Chris Untereiner, and an RBI double by Bryer Mueller in the first inning helped the Regina Red Sox put some runs on the board early.

Bick racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Regina Red Sox.

Ryne Drummonds racked up seven strikeouts in the the Regina Red Sox win. Drummonds allowed one earned run, three hits and two walks over seven innings.

Austin Russell was hot from the plate for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. Russell went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

Taylor Elder couldn't get it done on the mound for the Moose Jaw Miller Express, taking a loss. He allowed 10 runs in seven innings, walked five and struck out six.
