The Regina Red Sox's offense erupts for 16 runs in blowout victory over the Moose Jaw Miller Express

The Regina Red Sox (5-0) continued to pile up the runs on Tuesday, scoring four runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 16-4 win over the Moose Jaw Miller Express (3-4) at Currie Field.

The Regina Red Sox scored five runs in the fourth on an RBI single by Hector Rivera, a three-run single by Randy Ramirez, and a solo home run by Cody Maas.

Maas racked up six RBIs on three hits for the Regina Red Sox.

Daniel Jones's 11 strikeouts helped the Regina Red Sox to the victory. Jones allowed four earned runs on eight hits and no walks over seven innings.

Michael Corso paced the Moose Jaw Miller Express at the plate. Corso went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the first inning.

Marshall Dean was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed 12 runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out three.

The Regina Red Sox hammered the Moose Jaw Miller Express pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 16 hits, 14 RBIs and 15 runs scored.
