Jeremie Fagnan went 2-4 and hit a home run, helping the Lethbridge Bulls (4-4) to a 7-3 victory over the Medicine Hat Mavericks (5-2) on Wednesday at Spitz Stadium.

Ben Smith racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Jared Mortensen got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out six, walked one and surrendered six hits.

Colton Rudd (1-1) took the loss for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
