Rick Brebner brought home the winning run to give the Atwater Aviators (36-18) the lead in the seventh inning, as the Atwater Aviators hung on to beat the Alameda Merchants (23-20) 6-3 on Saturday.

With the score tied at two, Brebner came to the plate and homered, scoring Adam Mund and Gordon Madej.

Brebner racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Atwater Aviators. He homered in the seventh inning.

Joe Medeiros was hot from the plate for the Atwater Aviators. Medeiros went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Spencer Koopmans recorded his fifth win of the year for the Atwater Aviators. He allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out six, walked four and surrendered nine hits.

Chaz Meadows was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
