The Abilene Prairie Dogs' Fogle comes through in the clutch, upends the Fort Worth Cats, 2-0

Bryan Fogle drove in the winning run to give the Abilene Prairie Dogs (27-39) the lead in the eighth inning, as the Abilene Prairie Dogs hung on to beat the Fort Worth Cats (36-31) 2-0 on Saturday.

With the game scoreless in the eighth inning Fogle came to the plate and homered, bringing home Geraldo Valentin.

Fogle racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Abilene Prairie Dogs. He homered in the eighth inning.

Kevin Gelinas brought the heat against the Fort Worth Cats during his outing. Gelinas held the Fort Worth Cats hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Blake Nation was effective even in defeat, mowing down nine the Abilene Prairie Dogs batters and allowing two runs.

Nation was charged with his third loss of the year.
