The PUCCIO ELECTRIC (6-12) didn't stand a chance on Saturday, as the TNA Co-Ed (14-4) captured a blowout 18-5 win in seven innings at Shorefront.
The TNA Co-Ed scored seven runs in the third on an RBI single by Kelley Schultz, a two-run single by Gina Marano, an RBI single by Pat Brown, an RBI single by Joy Graebner, an RBI single by Frank DiGregorio, and an RBI double by Steven Parzych.
Brown racked up five RBIs on three hits for the TNA Co-Ed.
The PUCCIO ELECTRIC were led by John Trahan's hitting. Trahan went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first, second, and fourth innings.
Even though Chris Plapp allowed five runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his fourth of the season. Plapp struck out one, walked four and gave up 15 hits.
Maryann PeelingLake (4-6) took the loss for the PUCCIO ELECTRIC. He allowed 18 runs in seven innings, walked none and struck out one.
The TNA Co-Ed pounded the PUCCIO ELECTRIC pitching, as eight hitters combined for 24 hits, 15 RBIs and 16 runs scored.
