The Lethbridge Bulls (2-2) beat the Swift Current Indians (2-2) 6-3 on Saturday at Spitz Stadium behind Jeremie Fagnan, who had three RBIs.

The Lethbridge Bulls got the win thanks in large part to Jared Mortensen's dominant, 12-strikeout performance. Mortensen allowed three earned runs, 10 hits and one walk over seven innings.

Alex Mortensen had two extra-base hits for the Swift Current Indians. He doubled in the first and eighth innings.

Eric Huson (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
