A four-run seventh inning sealed a 10-3 win for the Medicine Hat Mavericks (3-1) over the Okotoks Dawgs (1-3) on Wednesday at Athletic Park.

Bubba Dotson racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He homered in the first inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

The Okotoks Dawgs' lineup had no answer for Kenton Schroter. Schroter held the Okotoks Dawgs hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Trace Tam-Sing racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Okotoks Dawgs. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Levi Westerlund got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed three runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered eight hits.

Danny Britton-Foster (0-1) took the loss for the Okotoks Dawgs. He allowed eight runs in 6 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out eight.
