Matt Pollock was cold coming off the bench, but Pollock warmed up quickly as Pollock stroked a key pinch-hit single in the two to lead the Top Speed Baseball (34-21) to a 15-1 win over the Vacaville Rattlers on Tuesday at Sir Francis Drake High School.

With the Top Speed Baseball leading by two in the second inning, Pollock came to the plate and singled.

Nine runs in the first three innings helped the Top Speed Baseball blow out the Vacaville Rattlers. A three-run home run by Randall Packard in the first inning and an RBI single by Quinn Bower during the second inning fueled the Top Speed Baseball's offense early.

Packard racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Top Speed Baseball.

Mitch Labbie looked sharp on the mound. The Vacaville Rattlers managed just one hit off of the the Top Speed Baseball's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his three innings of work.

The Top Speed Baseball hammered the Vacaville Rattlers pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 12 hits, 11 RBIs and 11 runs scored.

Savage was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 15 runs in eight innings, walked seven and struck out six.
