David Benson kept the Kansas Cannons (3-2) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Seattle Studs (3-1) beat the Kansas Cannons, 8-0.

Benson allowed five hits, two walks and struck out four.

The Seattle Studs blew out the Kansas Cannons thanks to 18 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Seattle Studs scored three runs in the ninth on an error and a two-run triple by Bobby Tannehill.

Tannehill racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Seattle Studs.

Aaron Larsen couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Kansas Cannons, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
