Four first-inning runs helped the Kansas Cannons (3-1) to a 7-4 win over the Impact Sports (2-2) at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium on Sunday.

Ty Kildow went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Kansas Cannons. He singled in the second and sixth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.

Derek Martinez's six strikeouts were enough to push the Kansas Cannons past the Impact Sports. Martinez allowed two earned runs on six hits and three walks over seven innings.

Alex Herz was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
