The Casa Grande Cotton Kings outdone by Barrios and the Liberal Bee Jays, 9-6

Jake Barrios had two extra base hits as the Liberal Bee Jays (3-2) took home a 9-6 victory over the Casa Grande Cotton Kings (2-2) at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium on Sunday.

He tripled in the second and ninth innings.

Keegan Hucul picked up the win for the Liberal Bee Jays. Hucul allowed no earned runs, three hits and no walks while striking out one over 6 2/3 innings of work.

Eric Dawson led the Casa Grande Cotton Kings' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the second inning.

Clinton Graham had an impressive outing against the Liberal Bee Jays' lineup. Graham gave up just three hits, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Sean Simonz ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed three runs.

Dylan Delso, Johnathan Sigado and Barrios helped lead the Liberal Bee Jays. They combined for seven hits and five RBIs.
