A superb effort by Josh Stone led the El Dorado Broncos (2-0) to a 3-1 win over the Plaza Tire Capahas (1-2) on Thursday at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

Stone struck out 13 hitters en route to the the El Dorado Broncos win. Stone allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk over nine innings.

The El Dorado Broncos held off the Plaza Tire Capahas, as the Plaza Tire Capahas were unable to overcome a three-run seventh inning deficit.

The Plaza Tire Capahas scored one run in the ninth on a groundout by Jordan Kimball. Still, the Plaza Tire Capahas couldn't draw even.

Brayon Colley reached base two times in the game for the El Dorado Broncos.
