Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the River City Rascals (37-42) and the Road Warriors (5-14), as the two teams put up 22 runs combined in a 12-10 the River City Rascals win.

The River City Rascals held off the Road Warriors, as the Road Warriors were unable to overcome a nine-run sixth inning deficit.

The Road Warriors scored on a three-run home run by Jacob Daniel in the seventh inning, , a wild pitch, and a passed ball in the eighth inning, and an RBI single by David Roney and in the ninth inning. Still, the Road Warriors couldn't catch the River City Rascals.

Charlie Lisk had two extra-base hits for the River City Rascals. He homered in the fifth inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Justin Sarratt improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the River City Rascals. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out six, walked three and surrendered six hits.

Jon Jones ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked six, struck out one, and allowed three runs.

Curran Redal, Zach Deutscher, Lisk and Jeremy Synan helped lead the River City Rascals. They combined for eight hits and 11 RBIs.
