The Florence Freedom (40-32) and the Road Warriors (3-9) exchanged the lead four times on Sunday, but the Florence Freedom ended up on top with a 5-4 win over the Road Warriors.

Jim Jacquot racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Florence Freedom. He homered in the fifth inning.

The Road Warriors couldn't get anything going as long as Jose Velazquez was pitching. Velazquez held the Road Warriors hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Will Arnold was hot from the plate for the Road Warriors. Arnold went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

Sheng-An Kuo (0-2) took the loss for the Road Warriors. He lasted just four innings, walked five, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
