The Road Warriors (2-3) and the Traverse City Beach Bums (41-24) each put runners in scoring position on Sunday, but the Road Warriors capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 10-7 win at Wuerfel Park.

Ben Magsig led the Road Warriors' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the third innings.

Jeff Flagg reached base three times in the game for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Matt Schimpf got his fourth win for the Road Warriors despite allowing six runs over five innings. Schimpf struck out two, walked three and gave up 10 hits.

David Deminsky (5-2) took the loss for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
