An impressive two-way performance from Tyler Schmidt led the Rockies AA (4-2) to a 4-3 win Tuesday over the Dodgers AA, as Schmidt came up huge at the dish and on the rubber.

Schmidt led the Rockies AA's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Schmidt's eight strikeouts helped the Rockies AA to the victory. Schmidt allowed no earned runs on five hits and two walks over seven innings.

The Rockies AA held off the Dodgers AA (3-2), as the Dodgers AA were unable to overcome a two-run fourth inning deficit.

The Dodgers AA scored one run in the fifth on an error. Still, the Dodgers AA couldn't draw even.

Cole Threndyle was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
