The D.C. Grays (18-21) took the last of seven lead changes in a back-and-forth affair against the Alexandria Aces (20-21), securing a 7-6 victory on Tuesday at Frank Mann Field.

John Beaubien racked up two RBIs on three hits for the D.C. Grays. He homered in the seventh inning and singled in the sixth and ninth innings.

Stephen Paladino had an impressive outing against the Alexandria Aces' lineup. Paladino gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his 1 1/3 innings of work.

Greg Speiss was effective even in defeat, mowing down seven the D.C. Grays batters and allowing three runs.

Nicholas Marics ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
