John Mishu had two extra base hits, helping the West All-Stars (1-0) to an 11-6 victory over the East All-Stars (0-1) on Sunday at Montpelier Recreation Field.

Jordan Betts racked up two RBIs on two hits for the East All-Stars. He homered in the sixth inning.

The West All-Stars had no answer for Nic Manuppelli, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Manuppelli held the West All-Stars hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Brett Houseal improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the West All-Stars. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered no hits.

The West All-Stars' Rob Kelly, Cole Peragine, Mishu and Grant Kay combined for six hits and seven RBIs.

Jonathon Massad couldn't get it done on the mound for the East All-Stars, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed one run.
