A walk-off single from Chris Henderson brought home the winning run for the New Jersey Jackals (34-27) in a 6-5 victory over the Gary SouthShore RailCats in 10 innings at Yogi Berra Stadium on Saturday.
Henderson racked up two RBIs on two hits for the New Jersey Jackals. He homered in the third inning and singled in the tenth inning.
Francisco Caraballo racked up three RBIs on three hits for the New Jersey Jackals. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.
Jeff Gogal looked sharp on the mound. The Gary SouthShore RailCats managed just one hit off of Gogal, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.
Marco Gonzalez took the loss for the Gary SouthShore RailCats. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
