The Youses Orioles (20-20) jumped out to an early lead on the Herndon Braves (15-24) and captured a 12-2 victory on Friday at Bachman Park.

With five runs in the first three innings, the Youses Orioles left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A solo home run by Dominic Fratantuono, an RBI single by KJ Hockaday, and an RBI single by Ryan Metzler during the first inning and an RBI single by Hockaday and an error in the second inning fueled the Youses Orioles' offense early.

Fratantuono reached base three times. He scored three runs and had one RBI.

The Herndon Braves' Kyle Toomey was perfect at the dish, going 2-2. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Brandon Casas improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Youses Orioles. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Mike Urbanski was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
