The Giants AA (1-2) weren't able to overcome the big hole they dug themselves into against the Rockies AA (3-2), and the Giants AA lost 6-4 to the Rockies AA after falling behind by five runs in the sixth inning.

The Giants AA scored three runs in the seventh on an RBI double by Justin Johnston and two singles. Still, the Giants AA couldn't draw even.

Jaryd McClocklin racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Rockies AA. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

The Rockies AA relied on Aidan Peacock to eat up innings en route to the win. Peacock allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks while striking out three over six innings of work.

Mitch Kelly got a hit in each of his two at bats. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh innings.

Cole Beattie (1-1) took the loss for the Giants AA. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked two and struck out 11.
