The Bourne Braves (13-21) were unable to fight back from the big hole they dug themselves into against the Brewster Whitecaps (14-19), and the Bourne Braves lost 4-3 to the Brewster Whitecaps after falling behind by three runs in the sixth inning.

The Bourne Braves scored two runs in the seventh on an RBI double by Austin Wynns and an error. Unfortunately, the Bourne Braves weren't able to take the lead back.

Trevor Mitsui reached base three times. He scored one run and had two RBIs. He homered in the fifth inning.

Jake Kalish struck out four, paving the way for a the Brewster Whitecaps win. Kalish allowed one earned run on four hits and no walks over five innings.

It was a good day at the plate for the Bourne Braves' LJ Mazzilli. Mazzilli went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the second and sixth innings.

Jon Keller (0-3) took the loss for the Bourne Braves. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
