The Niagara (19-15) and the Rochester (AIA (10-21) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Niagara that eventually took advantage of them in a 6-4 win at Webster, Basket Road Field.

The Rochester (AIA scored three runs in the fourth on a groundout by Frank Dreslinski, an RBI single by Jordan Doherty, and a wild pitch. Despite their efforts, the Rochester (AIA couldn't get over the hump.

Shakeel Newton did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Niagara, reaching base four times. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He tripled in the fourth innings and singled in the third and ninth innings.

Jonathan Knapp recorded his fourth win of the year for the Niagara. He allowed four runs over five innings. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered five hits.

Joel Belk was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked three and struck out three.
