Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the LIONS DEN (8-13) outscored the Thunder (schaefer (18-5) 19-11 in seven innings.

The teams totaled 47 hits in the game.

Fifteen runs in the opening three innings allowed the LIONS DEN to easily put away the Thunder (schaefer. An RBI single by Marko Fieri, a fielder's choice, an RBI double by Alex, and a two-run single by DJ Santiago in the first inning and an RBI single by Fieri and a two-run single by Dan Hartman during the second inning supplied the early offense for the LIONS DEN.

The Thunder (schaefer couldn't slow down john disipo, who paced the LIONS DEN with five hits. He singled in the first, second, third, fourth, and sixth innings.

The Thunder (schaefer were led by a flawless day at the dish by Stan Yoniak, who went 3-3 against the LIONS DEN's pitching. He singled in the fourth, fifth, and seventh innings.

The LIONS DEN easily handled the Thunder (schaefer pitching as eight hitters combined for 28 hits, 16 RBIs and 17 runs scored.
