Maso Cotton improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the SYR Salt Cats. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered six hits.

Sean Badger ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
