The Terre Haute Rex (22-15) took the last of five lead changes in a back-and-forth affair against the Hannibal Cavemen (19-19), securing a 4-3 victory on Saturday at Clemens Field.

Patrick Chandler paced the Terre Haute Rex at the plate. Chandler went 3-4 and scored two runs. He tripled in the fifth inning and singled in the first and seventh innings.

Nick Cunningham allowed two earned runs, four hits and no walks while striking out two over six innings of work.

Nick Blount recorded his second win of the year for the Terre Haute Rex. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered three hits.

Christian Trent couldn't get it done on the hill for the Hannibal Cavemen, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
